Ramsey County residents receive a library card for free, valid for 5 years. LRPL no longer charges daily late fees. If a material is returned, no fee is charged to the patron whatsoever. You can print, scan, fax, and copy letter-size and unusually-sized documents in black and white or color at the library. LRPL offers over 150 programs per year, for ages 0-100. You have access to dozens of statewide databases from our website, including Ancestry.com, Britannica, NoveList, and many more. The library's community room is free to reserve. There are collection development policies in place to respond to requests for material reconsideration. You have FREE access to Libby and therefore Universal Class with a library card. You can check out a State Park pass for free daily admission into any North Dakota State Park. If we don't have a book in Devils Lake, you can request it via inter-library loan for a small shipping fee. You can check out DVDs, audiobooks, board games, and Library of Things items (including DVD binge boxes, nature backpacks, and an extension ladder) with just a library card.
