Deaf History Month
Deaf History Month is observed March 1–April 15 of this year. With the wonderful North Dakota School for the Deaf right here in Devils Lake, the Lake Region Public Library wants to highlight some books and resources we have available. Some titles in this display include:

Women’s History Month
Women’s History Month is observed March 1-31 of this year. Women’s History Month is a time to reflect on the courage of women in past generations and to celebrate how their efforts and bravery afforded women the opportunities and freedoms they have today. These are just a few of the books we have highlighted for this important month!

We Stand With Ukraine
Last week, the American Library Association shared a statement in support of our Ukrainian colleagues and encouraging libraries “to help raise public consciousness regarding the many ways in which disinformation and media manipulation are used to mislead public opinion in all spheres of life.” The Lake Region Public Library has physical items available for checkout, listed below.
